Chelation Treatments

To increase my efforts in detox or heavy metal detox, I have re-commenced a program of chelation.

Chelation therapy is the administration of chelating agents to remove heavy metals from the body. For the most common forms of heavy metal intoxication—those involving lead, arsenic or mercury—the standard of care in the United States dictates the use of dimercaptosuccinic acid (DMSA).[citation needed] Other chelating agents, such as 2,3-dimercapto-1-propanesulfonic acid (DMPS) and alpha lipoic acid (ALA), are used in conventional and alternative medicine.

No approved medical research has found any benefits to chelation therapy for other diseases or ailments. ( Why would they? They want to keep illnesses alive!!!!)

Chelating agents were introduced into medicine as a result of the use of poison gas in World War I Chelation therapy is used as a treatment for acute mercury, iron (including in cases of thalassemia), arsenic, lead, uranium, plutonium and other forms of toxic metal poisoning. The chelating agent may be administered intravenously, intramuscularly, or orally, depending on the agent and the type of poisoning.

My chelation is two fold. Vitamin C and Mineral IV,evey other week week, and, Vitamin C, Glutathione and EDTA, evry other week. So I ge4t one week and the other another week every Monday at the Clinic.

The intravenous chelation has been recommended because I do not do well with an oral chelation. I took DMSA(dimercaptosuccinic acid), an oral chelator, once a week, and it made me very sick. This was because it dislodged so much stuff that my symptoms returned almost ten-fold and I was quite incapacitated.

This chelation I am now taking still made me a little sick yesterday. I was down in the dumps and my timgling because worse but it is still nothing compared to the other one. Of course, I am monitoring the effects and drinking lots of water to help discard the toxins.

I have no idea if this is going to help. I have no idea if anything is going to help but we keep trying.

One thing is for sure, even Dr. Zamboni who discovered the 'Liberation Treatment', knows that it is the metals that make the MS symptoms worse. I completely agree and it is these metals that I am trying to remove.

Let's see what happens!!

Did the chelation help?

Yes, the chelation helped me because if got rid a lot of the toxins but as it released the free radicals, it made me a little sick. My body cannot take a lot of chelation because of the release of the free radicals.
I stopped the intravenous chelation and now take a mild oral chelating drink, daily.
I am sorry for the late response. I actually sent you an e-mail but then realized, it was a no response e-mail. Anyway, I will be happy to discuss more with you if you wish.

Alnoor, you should look into the Andrew Cutler chelation protocol. It is much safer than any IV chelation and the safest chelation protocol out there. It is oral chelation at very low doses and taken frequently. Many people are even chelating their children safely.

Ultimately, do you think the chelation did more harm or good?
